What should I wear?

We recommend that you wear athletic style clothing like you would wear if you were going for a long hike. For example, sneakers or hiking boots, leggings, t-shirts, etc. Because our harnesses are secured around the waist and thighs, pants or long shorts are strongly recommended because shorter bottoms can ride up. In addition, there are some rope elements on the Adventure Course that pants will help protect your legs from. Flagstaff can get cold during the Fall and Winter months, so dress in layers if you plan to come during that time! Also, keep in mind that clothing may get dirt or tree sap on them.

Open-toed or slip-on shoes, flipflops, and overly baggy clothing are NOT permitted. Long hair must be tied back and eyeglasses must be secure. We strongly recommend leaving your jewelry at home, especially any loose bracelets or necklaces that can get caught in the equipment. Fingerless gloves are also recommended to protect your hands. If you don't have your own, we sell a cotton pair of fingerless gloves on-site!
